Threads roll of perforated cardboard that controls stitching
operation through guide rollers and attaches end to automatic
control mechanism or inserts punched cards in machine. Aligns
pointers on cloth frame with marks on machine chassis to
position frame within prescribed stitching action limits.
Turns
handwheel to make first stitch, observing needle and shuttle
action, thread tension, and alignment of sticth.
